Fire Systems Design

• Fire systems concept, design and installation to the London 2012 main park

The Scheme:
The scheme consisted of providing structures on the main Olympic Park during 2012 in support of the main sporting arenas which were constructed prior to this period. These facilities were essential to making the games a commercial success and looking after the welfare of the visitors from throughout the world.
Our Role:
Our role consisted of providing the detailed sprinkler system design to the megastore building and also contracting the installation works, providing construction management services under the strictest of life health safety standards. In addition we provided the firefighting watermain supplies to the hockey arena and also contracted this facility.
Challenges and Collaboration:
Our design involvement with the scheme was completed successfully during early 2012and approved under a challenging programme.
