Following an FM Global Fire Risk report, the company were appointed as Fire Engineers to design, procure and install a sprinkler system and associated trade works for the protection of all ASOS assets.
ASOS occupy the entire first, second and sixth floors, together with part of the lower ground, ground and fourth floors. There are a number of other tenants currently occupying the building.
The company provided a fully hydraulically calculated design for statutory approval purposes, also for the clientโs insurers approved FM Global. Full time site-management was provided to administer the CDM Regulations and ensure safe and incident free work throughout the installation period.
Greater London House is a โliveโ building with multiple tenancies over 6 floors. ASOSโ occupancy comprises offices, open workspaces, film and photographic studios, cafรฉ and canteen areas and a gymnasium.
Retro-fitting a comprehensive sprinkler system into such an environment requiring out-of-hours attendance to minimise disruption of business-as-usual; workspaces being cleaned and cleared of materials before each working day.
GLH is an iconic historical building requiring care and attention to the building fabric and internal architecture throughout the project.
